After ten years of world-class customer service training with cable TV giant Continental Cablevision, Ed would enter the tech arena after holding the position of Broadband Technician. Ed graduated from the Institute of Technology -Clovis in 2003. He completed the Network Software Engineer (NSE) course at the top of his class. Ed was then hired as a software engineer for local Data Backup software vendor Yosemite Technologies- the makers of the once famous “Tapeware” backup software. Travelling the globe for two years “training the trainers” on several continents at major OEM campuses such as HP, Dell, and iOmega just to name a few- is where Ed would thrive and grow. Ed would leave Yosemite Technologies as the Manager of Global Technical Services.
Ed would then enter the network administration arena. Designing, building, deploying and maintaining the networks and infrastructure for several local commercial/industrial companies across the San Joaquin Valley. One company in particular was saved in excess of one hundred thousand dollars annually as per the digital inventory system Edward established for them. Entering the security arena with local company -CMI was the beginning of the jump to hyperspace and an entry into a new and exciting technical arena. A detour to northern California to instruct at the Institute of Technology –Modesto campus would put the security arena on hold for a couple of years. Entering back into the security arena would be the next leg of the journey for Ed via C&V Reps. C&V Representatives out of Santa Clara California would provide a solid base for training in CCTV surveillance and security solutions, allowing Ed to establishing himself as force to be reckoned with in BoM creation and project design/print markup. The top RSM at C&V Reps toted Ed as “the guy that will make your job 1000 times easier”. A wealth of technical know-how and a passion for customer service excellence, Ed is now a member of the Warren Associates team of engineers and will be covering the Western US territory.
